  Myself Jose Alex, my wife Susan and our three Kids Cindy, Alex and Willy are from Kerala, India, and are temporary residents of Moscow, Russia, since the last almost four years. We took a vacation trip to Baikal in January 2023 with Baikal Sun tours and travels. Galina, the Tour company manager was in touch with us well before our travel date and checked on even minor details like our food choices, other preferences etc. We travelled from Moscow to Irkustsk on our own and from there Slava, our English-speaking Guide from Baikal Sun Tours, received and conducted us throughout the tour. They arranged a very spacious and comfortable vehicle for us to travel to Baikal and during the journey Slava gave a very detailed historical perspective of Baikal and the Buryats etc. Small gestures like the ice creams and stops at important landmarks (Buddhist Monastery, Bull statue) and the amazing Russian lunch made our journey very special. The hovercraft journey on the Baikal lake, the excellent stay in individual cottage, the local fish soup by Gregory, our driver cum guide in Baikal, the tubing ride behind our vehicle on ice, Skiing on lake Baikal, the ice stalactites are such a special memory in our life. Each and every single moment in our three-day trip was so memorable, including the unique kissing of Lake Baikal. Slava and Galina checked on us every day to make sure we are comfortable. The tour was for three days and charges by Baikal Sun Tours is the best available and worth every single Ruble. This was the best tour of our life and thanks to Galina, Slava, Gregory and Baikal Sun tours for making this so special. Strongly recommended for anyone who is looking for a tension free pleasant experience at Baikal.
