День 1. Arrive in Kathmandu & Travel to Pokhara

Your trip begins the moment you land at Kathmandu's Tribhuvan Airport (KTM). From there, you have two great options to get to Pokhara. You can choose a scenic, 6- to 7-hour drive that winds through hills and valleys, offering a beautiful look at Nepal's changing landscape. Both journeys show you the unique character of Nepal as you head west towards the tranquility of Pokhara.

Morning/Afternoon: Get to Kathmandu. Your guide will meet you at the airport. They will help you get ready. They will make sure your bags are safe. Then, you will start the drive to Pokhara. The car will be comfy. You can watch the world go by. You might see local people working in their fields. You might see small shops by the road.

Evening: Check into your hotel. Your hotel is in the Lakeside part of Pokhara. This area is known for its calm feel. Walk by Phewa Lake. The lake is large and still. You can see boats on the water. The air is cool and fresh. Eat dinner at a good restaurant. There are many choices, from local food to other kinds. You can find places with lake views. This helps you get used to the place. You can enjoy the calm air. The lakeside is a great spot to relax after your trip. It is a good way to start your adventure.

День 2. Flight to Jomsom & Drive to Muktinath

Get ready for an exciting morning. You will take a short but amazing flight from Pokhara to Jomsom. Jomsom is the main town in Mustang. This flight is only about 25 minutes long. Your small plane will fly between the tall peaks of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. These are some of the highest mountains in the world. You will see incredible views right outside your window. Morning: Take the early 25-minute flight to Jomsom. Flights leave early because the weather is best then. The views are clearest. It is a good idea to book this flight in advance. The small planes fill up fast.

Afternoon: From Jomsom, you will get into a 4x4 jeep. The road is bumpy but pretty. It is a 1.5-hour drive to Muktinath (3,800 meters). The jeep ride takes you through a dry, rocky land. You will see small villages made of stone. You might see some local animals like yaks. The landscape is very different from Pokhara. The colors are mostly brown and red.

Marpha is a clean, pretty village. It has stone streets and white houses. The village is very neat. People here take pride in their homes. Apple trees grow all around. The air smells sweet. You will see many apple orchards.

Morning: Enjoy one last walk through Kagbeni. Take some photos. Say goodbye to this ancient place. You might want to buy a small souvenir.

Afternoon: Drive to Marpha (2,670 meters). The drive is short and pleasant. See the village. Walk through its clean streets. Notice the neat rows of houses. Visit the local church. It is a quiet place for thought. Make sure to try some apple pie. It is fresh and delicious. You can also try apple cider or local apple brandy. These are special to Marpha. They make great gifts. Morning: Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara. The airport in Pokhara is small and easy to use. Be ready for early morning check-in.

Afternoon: Start seeing Pokhara.

  • Devi's Fall: This is a strong waterfall. Water rushes down into a deep hole. It then flows into a hidden path underground. The sound of the water is loud and calming at the same time. You can feel the spray in the air. It is a natural wonder. There is a small park around it.
