День 1. Arrival in Paro Transfer to Thimphu
Your journey begins with a spectacular landing at Paro International Airport, often considered one of the most scenic airports in the world. As your plane descends through forested mountains, youll get your first glimpse of Bhutans dramatic landscape.
After immigration and baggage collection, meet your guide and begin a 1.5-hour drive to Thimphu. The drive follows the Paro and Thimphu rivers, offering serene views of traditional houses and prayer flags.
Afternoon sightseeing:
Visit Memorial Chorten, a revered stupa where locals gather for daily prayers.
Explore Simply Bhutan, an interactive cultural museum showcasing Bhutanese traditions.
Walk around Clock Tower Square, a lively plaza surrounded by shops and cafs.
Evening: Check into your hotel and relax.

Visit Tashichho Dzong :This grand fortress-monastery serves as the seat of Bhutans government and central monastic body. If your visit coincides with a local tshechu (festival), youll witness an unforgettable spectacle of masked dances, sacred rituals, and vibrant traditional attire. These festivals are not just performances—theyre deeply spiritual events believed to confer blessings on attendees.
Stop at Buddha Dordenma: One of the largest seated Buddha statues in the world, it overlooks the Thimphu Valley and offers sweeping panoramic views—especially striking in clear morning or late afternoon light.
Explore the Thimphu Weekend Market :Best experienced from Friday to Sunday, this lively riverside market is where locals gather to buy fresh produce, spices, textiles, and handmade goods. Its a great place to observe everyday Bhutanese life up close.

День 3. Thimphu - Punakha

Depart Thimphu and drive toward Punakha, crossing the breathtaking Dochula Pass (3,100m).
En route:
Stop at the iconic Dochula Chortens, a cluster of 108 stupas with Himalayan views (clear weather permitting).
Continue to Punakha, Bhutans former capital.
Highlights:
Visit Punakha Dzong, one of Bhutans most beautiful fortresses, located at the confluence of two rivers.
Walk across Bhutans longest suspension bridge, adorned with prayer flags.
Enjoy a gentle hike to Chimi Lhakhang, a fertility temple dedicated to Lama Drukpa Kunley.
Overnight: Punakha
День 4. Punakha - Phobjikha Valley(Gangtey)
After breakfast, drive toward the glacial valley of Phobjikha (approx. 2-3 hours), passing through Wangdue Phodrang.
In Gangtey/Phobjikha:
Visit Gangtey Monastery, an important monastery of the Nyingma school of Buddhism.
Explore Phobjikha Valley, known as the winter home of the rare Black-necked Crane (Novfeb).
