Reaching the Golden Triangle where Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar join is easy as it’s only 9 kilometres north of Chiang Saen, by taking the road parallel to the Mekong River. “Sop Ruak” is its nickname called by the locals, representing it is where Mekong and Ruak rivers join. It is also the birthplace of various legends of the Lanna culture.Boats services are available to enjoy the view upstream of the Golden Triangle and enjoy with the long tail boat along Mae Khong river around Lao’s Island. Late afternoon transfer to hotel.

During a private transfer to Chiang Mai, stop en-route at a few interesting places, such as Wat Rong Khun, the spectacular, impressionistic “white temple”, and/or Baan Dum as well as hot springs if you wish. Arrive Chiang Mai and transfer to Kantary Hills Chiang Mai or similar.
